Yes, thanks! I've crossposted it to innocence_jihad. Probably should also put it in whydoesljcensor.

the only advance warning I ever heard about was that rumor floating around that people mocked.

I unlocked my post. I assume that is something like what you saw.

And that is really, really bad - deleting your journal after you had removed the offending interests. But it tells us something about the process.

What Morgandawn said. That post I copied appeared in forzazzuri on Friday, May 25th.

I suppose I could unlock that post now...or perhaps not.

I never got a warning at all, just a suspension. And LJ didn't even let me know what was going on until I sent them three emails. By that time, my friends in fandom were the ones to clue me in on what had happened (without them and their harrassing emails, I think my journal would still be suspended).

I removed 'rape' from my interests when my journal was unsuspended, but I'm a rebellious little bastard and I just now put it back up...let them delete me. When they unsuspended my journal (FINALLY) they sent me an email saying I might still be in danger and they'd communicate with all users whose journals were unsuspended by the end of last week to let us know what we had to do and to clarify their new policies on user interests. I don't know about anyone else, but I received no such email. so until they tell me that now it's wrong to have 'rape' in my interests, until they specifically say that to me themselves, it's staying there. Bah. This whole thing is ridiculous.

*runs off to put 'necrophelia' in her interests*

I added pinata fucking to my interests. Also illegal livejournal interests and preventing six apart witch-hunts.

Thank you for that information. It seems Six Apart is having a hard time coming up with a new TOS, which is not surprising, because their plan is absolutely bonkers. We still haven't heard if they are working with EFF, as the 6A CEO claimed would happen.
