Gorgeous! Poor Ianto, lonely for so long, then gets one precious night with Jack, before having to leave him for another thirty-something years before he can return to his Jack when he catches up to the right time again. No wonder Ianto was feeling melancholy when they met. At least they'll be together again one day, even though Jack won't remember that night.

Thanks. Depending on the muses, which have been totally uncooperative for the last month or so, I may write one where they try to break the retcon. Maybe have them act out the whole thing (complete with some TW-style shenanigans) to jog Jack's memory. It could be fun.

Poor Ianto having to watch Jack from afar and then Retcon him after spending the night with him. Jack would be so upset if he realized he'd been drugged to forget such a fantastic night.

I think it would be very hot if Ianto were to act out the night with Jack to see if Jack could break through the Retcon and remember what happened. I could see Jack being more than willing to give it a try if Ianto told him they'd met up back then.
