Caught up on sleep, sorta. Didn't do much else except help roomie hang posters. Feeling better at least, so hopefully I won't have any con crud for next week.

I'd rather have a whole month of doing absolutely nothing than to have long weekends. Because there's always that anticipation for the long weekend, and the dread as it comes to a close. While it hasn't been completely terrible, at least I'm getting up for work on time. Though with con just around the corner I may be less than sociable towards others if my hibernation periods don't re-synchronize before then.

There's a part of me that misses working overnights. My days were left open to do more things, even though I had to somehow squeeze sleep in sometime. The job was fairly quick enough that I could surf the web or get personal things taken care of as necessary ( Read more... )

Today marked 11 years at my job, the past three on (mostly) day shifts. And what do I get? Painful leg cramps surfacing inexplicably in my right calf, and another weekend scheduled to be at work.

Yay.
