bettie serveert are alright. their new album got slated on pitchfork, but i kind of like it. in a lot of ways they remind of throwing muses which is why i like them.
i don`t think i`d travel too far to see them but they`re doing a pretty comprehensive tour of the netherlands and i`d rather make the effort to a gig that sukilove are playing too.
as for the gathering, the official release date for Souvenirs should be soon if not already. no idea if they`ll ever go to the US but you never know. they even gave in and set up some dates in britain so anything is possible. 8-)
