Consider this a "cheat sheet" based on my experiences with the Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010 as I start an exercise regime.

Doode. You burn twice the number of calories I burn in any given day. And I run 4-6 miles daily. Oh, to be a man!

Yeah, the metabolism differences between men and women suck. One of the reasons that I like seeing the female contestants on The Biggest Loser succeed. :-)

Luckily, I trust my math on figuring out the metabolic rates. The only fudge factor is the exercise part. I picked the worst item (walking for 30 minutes) to get a baseline. As long as I do exercise, the numbers are close enough to be correct.

Besides, Jillian kicks butt. Wins every time. Hard to fight against that.

Love her attitude.

Watching the new season and the drama revolving around Tracy. She's got such a "bad" attitude" -- it's all about winning for her. Even in her home video, her husband is encouraging her to win rather than succeed. And I swear that poster in the background behind him in the video was of George W. Bush, dressed as a cowboy, an American flag and the seal of the President of the United States floating in the sky representing God and country, :-P
