After her latest vet visit, we've been giving Heidi (in userpic) glucosamine supplements. She's in good shape for a 15ish-year-old cat, but definitely starting to show her age

I see that kind of jealousy in my house too. Erik was the first to need meds that go best mixed into canned food, and thus canned food entered the house. I had to feed him on a counter that the others couldn't jump up on, but I'd let them lick the spoon or have a little bit on the side as compensation. Then Baldur joined the "needs canned food" club, and Embla got even more demanding -- but while she'd lick the spoon, she wouldn't actually eat food that I put in a dish for her. She would, however, try to horn in on Baldur's bowl... Cats are weird. :-) (I've found a type of treat that Embla likes a lot, so I give her that while Baldur is eating the medicine-laced food. Mornings are complicated in my house.)
