If Grace and Daniel would have been able to stay, if more of the cast would have written/directed episodes, if recurring actors could have come back...if storylines would have been more consistent (!!!)
Very true. I ran into Grace Park on my flight at what I realized later was just after she would have exited the series, and at the time, I was wondering why she was so guarded. Once I realize she was gone from the series, that would have explained the stress I felt from her.
I would have loved to see her and Daniel Dae Kim stay on, and finish the series. And my slashy little heart wonders what might have been with Danny and Steve, had they had the chance.
And what really got me was when I read about Lenkov harassing the female writers, because the episodes written by female writers were some of the best McDanno ones. That really frustrated me.
I just wish he'd been ousted before Kim and Park left. I know part of that decision was CBS is notoriously stingy with their money and doesn't blink over firing actors if they want more money, but Lenkov probably didn't help the situation.
