I use the trimmer bit on my electric razor and a comb to trim my beard down.

Seriously, just pick up an electric beard trimmer. they usually come with many guards and attachments for doing different lengths. It's also good for trimming those mustache hairs off your lip.

Also, I am amazed with how different you appear in pictures vs. real life.

The beard totally works. And makes me feel ashamed. Because, christ, that's two weeks for you? That's about six months worth of hard effort and cultivation for me.
