A bunch of my friends took this personality test, so I figured I would too. I think it ended up way off in a few places, but I think the scheme it's using is sort of interesting. I like to see different attempts to span the space of human personalities. They all have their strong points and weak points...

Hey, someone whose Extraversion was even lower than mine (I scored a 10 there).
I'm more Neurotic, but other than that your scores aren't that far off from mine.

I was a little surprised at how low the extraversion was. I certainly expected it to be low, but, not that low. Maybe 5-10...? Not that I really have any feeling for what the scale means, exactly. The extraversion breakdown in the full report feels about right to me, though, in terms of the relative scores that make it up. Only the activity level there seems off; I wouldn't peg myself the whole way at the bottom in a self-evaluation.

But hey, that's what I get for taking the short form of an already imperfect instrument. Maybe the long version they offered would have been more accurate.

Of course, any time one of us education research types takes an instrument like that, there's a chance our knowledge of how tests work will screw up the results. :)
