no SIFF, good dinner
I wasn't really too interested in this morning's press screening film, Moka, so I took a more relaxed morning. But I took it too easy and didn't allow for enough time to talk "J" to a meeting she had scheduled and still make it to the noon film, Backpack Full of Cash. The 2 pm film was accredited press only, so I didn't end up seeing any films today.
Update: I later heard fairly positive buzz about Moka, and fairly so-so buzz about Backpack, so I may have called it wrong from the descriptions - or just heard unrepresentative buzz.
Instead of films, or even reviewing some of the previous press screenings, I worked on a creative project that I'm keeping under wraps for now.
This evening, J made us a really good fish dinner, with rice and broccoli.
