Every time I visit Longwood, I leave feeling homesick for the good ole days.

Oktoberfest as an event was great, although the bands I saw were a little lacking. I thought Patent Pending was the 80's cover band, so I didn't go to campus until it was too late.. in reality, they were a foul-mouthed punk band that I probably would've liked better in high

I don't think I even got to say goodbye to you this weekend, Stephie. Haha I'm so jealous that you got to see Kemper and the Concord crew! I feel you on the Farmville nostalgia - even though I'm really happy to be done with college, I do miss the good ol' days, especially of friends living close.

I hear ya on the nostalgia. In some ways, I'm happy to be where I am. I've definitely grown & learned a lot in the year and a half I've been away, and I really like who I am now.

But I so miss not having real responsibilities and the fact that all my closest friends are just footsteps away!!

Although I have to admit, I'm really looking forward to the upcoming years when we plan weekend trips and our kids grow up together. Or, conversely, when we plan Mag7 Only or Girls Only beach/weekend trips to get away from those families hehe Now, first step is my getting back to Virginia...

p.s. we have the same layout! yay!
