My week in Switzerland was much more like a week back home. Each day had no itinerary, Beth and I spent much of our time sitting around working on Sudoku puzzles, and we bonded with the family over Eurocup games and good movies. Switzerland! I'm so jealous... I've always wanted to go. Could you post some pictures here, please? :) I know you said you didn't get a lot, but if there are any you want to share, it would be great.

Also, hooray for you and Beth taking such an awesome trip together. That's so exciting.

And yes, Charles de Gaulle sucks bigtime for flights just about anywhere, I think. I once spent 9 hours trapped in that airport on a layover from something like Detroit to London... it was awful. (Partly because I knocked over our luggage trolley in front of a oncoming bus and got cussed out in French by the irate driver. XD) I survived only on Cheetos and a single good book. It's funny.. before this trip, I never really had the desire to go to Switzerland. I guess I was never introduced to its beautiful landscape.. wow. I definitely want to make a return trip someday!

Oh my gosh, that layover sounds horrible! I didn't realize how ridiculous that airport is - for my Spring Break trip, we flew in to CDG, but we left from Barcelona, so we had a great experience. I'll plan a little better next time. :)
