LOOOOL. Oh Ranka fans, why must you be so lame? I really wish stuff like this would stop, espically because when you rewatch the show agian, you realize that Ranka and Alto didn't really understand each other to begin with, nor did Alto spend that much time with her, so these lame attempts to downplay Arusheri scenes is just kind of last ditch effort and sad. Ah well, some people never change :D (Plus it's not just the writer that's an Alto Sheyrl fan, it's the character desginer, AND the seiyuu. Plus you can't go back and magically get rid of their chemistry so...)
