I have just read that Bono and Bod Geldof are (again) nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and apparently rumoured to win too. I am lost for words. "Come on" maybe?

I am still writing my essay on My own reservations about Science compared to others such as the feminist view or the religious view. Although I dedicated all of yesterday to this task I still haven't written down a single sentence. My view about science is that it rules! As I am trying to do some respectable work that involves thinking very hard I have gone into town and bought myself yet another pair of shoes. Whether that was a wise decision I don't know.

What is wrong with people? Here I am trying to eat my lunch/breakfast kind of food after a very exhausting half an hour of work ready to watch some decent day-time TV to relax and take my mind of awful science vs anti-science blurb and what do I find... someone has nicked the batteries from the remote control... WHY?

Right I am back. Everything is pretty much as I have left it - but with rain. I just realised that this LJ is kind of pointless, since my very few LJ-friends are people I see all the time anyway (ok apart from Jake, but we email).
