H'okay.
Mandy, Lou, and I saw Knocked Up on.... Tuesday? Anyways, it was cute, and then we had coffee and met Brian at the Tim's afterwards. Then we sang Beatles and Barenaked Ladies music on the curb with our feet on Lou's Cavalier's bumper for a while, and watched the stars and listened to the trucks on the highway. I'd been wondering about Uncle P, since he's been in my thoughts ever since the most recent surgery. I'm so sorry to hear he's not doing well. I'll step up the prayers for the entire family, because prayers never hurt.
It was good to know what's been hap'nin' in your life, Sterling, because some of us miss you very much! :D

Thank you so much - I really do appreciate the continued support. He seems to be improving somewhat now; at least he's not quite as critical as he was for a while there.
You're such a sweetheart. Seriously. ;)

I danced out of Hairspray, too - not to any music, though. XD That movie made me feel so happy.
And if you've never heard a 60+ farm girl try to pronouce "bong", believe me, it's immensely funny.
*is giggling just thinking about it*
It's like taking all my favourite elements of my favourite cop shows and combining them in convenient book format. So if we know each other through L&O at all, I recommend his stuff.
Ah, why thank you. You know, I had actually been hunting around for good crime novels for a while now, so I'll be sure to pick up something of his when next I go book shopping. Any books in particular that you like?
*squeeze* And I'm sorry to hear that Uncle P hasn't been doing well. Seconding glock - he'll be in my prayers.
Eew, no horseback riding for a month? :P Beats surgery, though. Hope your wrist heals okay.

My mum rocks out loud. I tell ya! XD
I love, love, *LOVE* "The Blue Line", but you might have to look for it in the used bookstores... It's a bit older and more difficult to find, depending on where you shop (it's also based on Canuck police forces). "Black Water Transit" is the one I just finished, and it was great. Good things have been said about "Sniper's Moon" as well.
Thank you so much for the prayers and hugs - he's showing some improvement now, and while he's not out of the woods yet, he doesn't have one foot in the grave anymore, either.
Urk, I know, eh? And I hope so too. ;)
