Epic Without a Trace season (please don't let it be series, CBS!!) finale is EPIC.

Okay, so maybe not epic in a big-explodey-things-action-movie kind of way (although there was some of that, on BOATS no less), but epic in a man-this-is-well-crafted-television kind of way.

Casefile = A+++
Jack/Sam story arc = A+++
Martin being kickass and redeeming

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but... CBS announced their fall schedule yesterday and... well, let's just say Jack and the team have a very high-profile "missing persons" case to deal with next season. :(

I heard, late last night I decided I couldn't take it anymore and started scouring the interwebs. I can't believe they dumped it. It was so fucking GOOD. *is heartbroken*

I like The Mentalist, don't get me wrong, but it seems like everybody's gotta have a cop with superhero powers now. I liked that they were just people, but they were good at their jobs. Sometimes it worked out, sometimes it didn't, but it wasn't just murder-of-the-week, y'know? *sigh* Seven years. I got attached.
