Comedy is supposed to be on the edge. I hate how people have to take heat for things. OK, some things shouldnt be said but I can say that I have never been shocked by anything a comedian has ever said. They have their fingers on the pulse, they are supposed to say what others never will.

And people take them way too seriously. It would take a lot for a comedian to offend my sensibilities, because they're a COMEDIAN. They're paid to make people laugh. You don't expect the same thing from a comedian as you do from a politician or a serious reporter. Because they're COMEDIANS. The problem isn't their act, the problem is that you're putting that kind of importance behind their act! /rant. XD

I watched it on TV earlier; and yeah, that was PRICELESS. I liked "How to shoot friends and interrogate people" too, and "Rush Limbaugh does not count as a troubled asset!"

But watching the red carpet was messing with my head way too much. Because they go "Ashlee Simpson!" and then they go "Henry Kissinger!" and then they go "Donnatella Versace!" and my brain cannot take that kind of stress. XD
