This was an intersting chapter, with the start of trying to keep their covers and adapt to their new living situation. I'm still really looking forward to how this unfolds.

That brings me to my only constructive criticism (if it can even be called criticism). I think these chapters need to be longer or, alternatively, the story needs to move along faster (less descriptive detail, more time jumps, etc.) Either would be fine.

Anyway, you may be already planning this sort of thing, but I thought I'd give you some feedback. Hope you take it in the spirit it's given. :)

As for the criticis: the next few chapters will still have a lot of detail, but after everything is settled there will be time jumps. Otherwise this story would have 700 chapters or so lol.
But it will be a long ride for sure.

As for longer chapters: I could do that, but you'd have to wait even longer for updates. English isn't my first language and writing isn't as fast as I'd like :D

Thanks for your response to this...and to be honest, waiting for chapters isn't an issue for me. I'd rather wait for a "better" chapter than have quick updates and read "less good" chapters. Quality is more important to me than quantity (not that the chapters so far are badly written or anything...otherwise I wouldn't be reading). But, I understand I'm probably in the minority there anyway.

Carry on, and I'm reading for sure regardless, because I like the story. :)
