Today I started a real journal. So far I like it a lot more than this thing, which makes me much more self conscious and feel like an exhibitionist to some extent. I guess they both have their place. The words just flowed so easily on paper, the same can't be said for this, knowing that someone will be reading it. I guess I have nothing more to say

i guess this'll be better answered the more you write in a real journal, but i'll ask now anyway: do you censor yourself? like, even though you know it's intended for your eyes only, do you stop yourself from saying things, almost like you're writing for someone else and there are certain things you don't want them reading?

like cha...i think most people do. you are writing to another person, your forty year old self who will make fun of your sixteen year old self.
