 So, we had to give up on our idea of not shopping at chains for Lent, the biggest reason being finances

Got it, got it, and got it :)

We already have the KitchenAid, with grinder, ice cream maker, and pasta set.

I also have a sewing machine...I'm getting better at sewing. But of course, there is still buying fabric :)

And I love my crockpot!

When I was little my dad and I used to go to a community mulch pile in Vienna (there used to be one in Herndon too, but now it's a strip mall), however the one in Vienna is apparently still there!

It's on Beulah Rd, as you head towards Vienna, on your right, a little ways before you get to Maple Avenue. It's easy to miss, but it's in a wooded area. It's free too!
