By now, I should know better than to ever walk into a DVD shop during a sale. It's far too expensive.

It's not just that I tend to buy more than I intended. (I was good this time. Didn't buy the first two seasons of Northern Exposure, or the complete seasons of Buffy that I don't have.) It's the dentist bills that come from grinding my teeth when ( Read more... )

Maybe this is an advantage of doing most of my shopping online. I very rarely go back and look at the price of things, because you usually have to do an explicit search.

...however, I think I'll go buy a copy of "Harold & Maude" (available again in Big-W) before I buy that - the ABC repeats it every 1.5 - 3 years anyway. Last year I tracked down video versions of this in the local libraries, and watched it straight.
