I forgot to celebrate appropriately yesterday, but it was the 145th Anniversary of the Golden Afternoon when the Rev. Charles Lutwidge Dodgson told the Liddell sisters the story that would become Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.

I was reading The Hunting of the Snark in his honour last night. It's my favourite Carroll. And I can recite most of The Lobster Quadrille.
