Challenges and Bright Sides

Right now, I'm deep in edits for Congress of Secrets, which is (for all the reasons discussed here) the book that makes me feel the most vulnerable out of all the books I've ever written. In other words, there is a LOT riding on these edits, for me...and I've got less than four weeks left to get them right, before I'm due to turn them in

Happy editing and good luck packing! I'll hope to have a review of Masks and Shadows up sometime around when it's actually published. I recently finished reading "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" (which I found helpful but which one friend felt obligated to throw across the room, unable to finish... you have been warned). Based on that, and my own current efforts to go through ALL of my things after more than a decade of having no real need to do so, I'd say that the bright side of moving is having a chance to reacquaint yourself with your belongings - being made happy by the the things that make you happy and having a chance to say thank you and farewell to the things that no longer do.
