OK, I am still totallytotallytotally on blog hiatus (don't laugh!), especially since I have a freelance deadline next Thursday and only two childcare sessions between then and now...

Congratulation on your trip--I hope you have a great time, and make a lot of money from the sale. What good things have been making me happy lately? Well, your husband recently followed me on twitter. That made me pretty happy--he seems like a cool guy. :-)

Thanks, Ilana! Honestly, I don't expect to make any money from this sale - when the price is SO low to start with, the share the author gets from it is pretty tiny. But I'm really hoping that it gets more readers to read Book 1, which might lead them to want to read Books 2 and 3 also!

And of course I agree about Patrick. :)

It's silly, I know, because I get author copies and if I want more can buy them for next to nothing--but I always buy a copy of my own book from Amazon and/or B&N. I can't help myself. I MUST!

And though I also have an ebook-copy to give her, my mom always buys one for her Nook and Kindle...because she CAN!

Ah the vanities of such things!

AHEM. That said, congratulations on the sale! I'm sure it'll coax many, many people to read the book who need to (which is everyone).
