Gotta confess I've been hoping for 2-3 days you'd post one of your things-that-cheer-me-up posts because I've been failing to find anything cheerful on the internet.

That is wonderful about your writing progress! So impressive, and I can't wait to congratulate you on being finished!!!!!

You can slice panettone (like most breads) and freeze it, and then toast a slice when you want more of it. If you have a really big panettone, this is helpful of course. Yours sounds small enough to not last long enough for freezing, because it will be eaten before then.

Oooh. I will remember that! (But yes, in our local café, each panettone is about the size and shape (wound round and round) of a medium-sized cinnamon roll.

Finishing my directors cut of Hierath before Skyward Sword has dropped through my letterbox has left me feeling pretty good. Tired, but good. Now I have lots of free time next week to play games!
And panettone = yum!

Pannetone makes the BEST french toast. OMG...I have to go buy some now, just so I can make it this weekend.

Cream, eggs, cinnamon, a dash of nutmet, and a pannetone--heaven. Gooey, sweet, rich heaven.

Oh my...I'm drooling on my keyboard!
