Today is Patrick's birthday! HOORAY! Go wish him a happy birthday on his blog!

He's still asleep right now, but later today there will be presents and a trip out to his favorite restaurant and much celebration. :)

In the meantime, though, I've been cuddling MrD (who is now asleep on my lap), and reading Maureen Johnson's The Bermudez Triangle. I ( Read more... )

I have The Bermudez Triangle on my TBR pile. Funnily enough, I almost picked it up today but chose the second book in Cassandra Clare's series instead. :)

I LOVE Maureen Johnson's dialogue and quirky characters and their relationships. My other favorites of hers are Devilish (which is actually fantasy!) and 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I've been informed I should check out Suite Scarlett too.

Ooh I haven't read 13 Little Blue Envelopes or Suite Scarlett yet - I will definitely have to track those down!
