I totally understand where you are coming from with the whole tube down the throat-surgery-singing issue. Though, there is nothing scarier than having surgery on your throat and being a singer. That was scary for me. Thankfully My voice is even better than it was before. So, don't worry about it. You may some discomfort for a few days, but it will be fine. You put worse things past your cords on a daily basis anyway.
SOOOO glad you're going to get that extra day off. Especially after the big push. I know it feels crunchy now but I bet in a few weeks you'll feel it was so worth it. Can't wait to see you in August.
I'm sure you're right, and I know things will be fine once I'm rested and healed up. Right now I'm just concentrating on putting one foot in front of the other.
Oh, and can I tell you how MUCH I agree with you on the yogurt request for PF? He he... I certainly don't expect anyone to re-arrange a menu just because I've had surgery, but I'm really hoping there will be options for me available. I'll be bringing along special food for me just in case, but I hope I won't have to use them as much. Protein shakes aren't all that great, but they'll do in a pinch. It won't be that big of a deal to head down to Boulder Creek for supplies if I need to.
