Baby Bird needs Rescue!

We found a baby bird yesterday in our front yard - he fell from a nest in a tree about 18 feet off the ground.  Does anyone have a ridiculously tall ladder I could borrow?  I really want to put baby bird back in his nest.

it's momma might not take him back now :( can you feed him??

Wildlife rescue said to feed him water-soaked / softened dog food kibble if momma bird wasn't feeding him. Poor baby. I hate seeing baby animals in crisis.
