You're doing such a great job building up the tension. I have faith everything will work out, but man, it was heartbreaking to hear a bitter and confused Hermione be painfully honest with Ron, only to have Mattie overhear. I don't blame Hermione for obsessing over the moment she said "No" to Ron; she had to know what it would do to him, how he would perceive it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

LOVE the flashbacks and LOVE the ending!!! I love that Mattie overheard that whole thing but think she's behaving a bit childish herself when Ron was actually defending her. (Like Shoc, I don't need a reason not to like her *giggle*)
