about minimizing the gif size...well why dont u minmize the pics....i mean u made it using pics right? try to minmize the pics and then animate them...with this the gif will be less size ^__^

are u usng image ready?
coz if ur using it there's optimize option (from windows-> optimise)
try to pick any other gif formate u got there and export it as gif...am sure it will work ^__^
and by the was..i like ur gif <3
