This was a good start and I loved how Steve didn't automatically know what Danny was thinking about what happened on the beach.

I also had the same thought about Amber. Why would Danny flirt with another woman when he had a "girlfriend?" We haven't seen that type of behavior from him in previous seasons, so I am guessing (hoping) that it means they are broken up or about to break up.

Thank you! :) I think it'll take a long time for him to figure Danny out when it comes to what happens between them. Or, for that matter, to figure himself out. Because he's not real good at that.

Danny's a guy--I'm not sure he thinks he was even flirting. But still, being so openly interested in what she thinks is interesting...

Ah...that's probably true. Neither of them strike me as the kind of guys who are all that aware of their emotions. Though you'd think Danny might be a little better off given he was married and has a daughter. But, eh....
