Is it freakishly wrong that I watched the episode and then the first thing I did was come looking for the fic that you had written? This was.......aaarghhh, I don't know what this was, but it's 1am where I am too, so I know what it would be to have someone knock on my door right now.

I love the way that you write these characters, this could so be a between the shows scene to keep us going. Now I'm going to have to go and read something bland and boring just so that I can get to sleep!!!!

This was such a powerful piece. I love how you wrote them... Danny being there for Steve, even if he can't put into words what their off the job relationship is. That makes it feel so natural and true. Also the comparison between Steve listening to his father die and Gracie almost losing her father the same way. I loved it!!

as soon as Steve said in your lovely CODA story about knowing how it feel to have heard your father being killed over the phone and that he didn't want Grace to experience the same, I suddenly went OHHHHH so that's why Steve looked like he went to a dark place in the car on the show...I can't believe that I forgot about that!!

Anyway, as always, your CODA was awesome and so full of emotions!
