we can now announce that the title of the new sigur rós album is takk..., which is icelandic for "thanks". it will be released september 12th on EMI records. we at sigur-ros.co.uk got a chance to listen to the album recently and for our money it's the best thing the band has ever released. we can't wait for the world to hear it. the tracklist on

Although the tickets are sold out, you really should find some way to make it to this concert. I've heard they are the most unbelievable band in concert. In almost every concert review I've read about them, the reviewer has said it is like a religious experience.

Hmm...I just checked Ticketmaster and they don't have any tickert listed for that venue, where'd you get your tickets from?
