I watched this movie years ago about this family that was deeply involved in the Christian religion. Seems alright, right? Nope. Their son had diabetes. He's a young boy, so this is a big thing. They decide that he doesn't need insulin. God will take care of him.

Alright. Sounds crazy. It gets worse. People tell this family, and the boy tells them, he NEEDS insulin to live. The boy dies and they do get charged with murder, but they are found not guilty, somehow or another.

What's really sad is this is based on a true story.

Sure, God's going to take care of you, but you have to take steps as well. *shakes head in disbelief*

Exactly. My mom always says, "God gives you a brain."

That's really sad. I don't know what to say.
