*hugs* I left the church a while ago. I never felt like I fit in. I'm not that conservative in any way and just always felt like an outsider. I even had my confirmation as an adult. It didn't help. I understand. Once I began exploring other options, I finally found a path that fit for me.

Yeah, the Catholic Church is definitely way, way too conservative for me. My mom used to say that you had to distinguish between the local church and the overall "organization" (so to speak), and that was definitely true. But since I'm not a part of that church anymore, there was nothing holding me back anymore.

It's good that you found a way for yourself.
