My hair is longer than it has been in a few years. I like it. I have to figure out creative ways not to melt under it, but I like it. I can do a lot with braiding now. It's also blonder than it has been in years.

At my cousin's apartment warming party on Sunday various family members told me how good I look. Wonders for my ego. And I feel good-

An ice cream cake sounds delicious.

And I don't blame you for leaving your balcony door wide open. It's horrible trying to sleep when it's too hot.

Mine was very good, I thought, but my mom's wasn't that great. Then again, she blended three different flavors of ice cream together., that probably wasn't a good idea... :)

Yeah, I loved the hot weather, but sleeping was a challenge.

I'm way past shoulder lenght, and it's annoying me as well. :) But not enough to cut it yet.

I'm reaping the benefits of an a/c now without having a cold neck. Very nice.

Ah yes, the heat. Fortunately, it will soon be over, and then we'll have the rain back. But yay for A/C units!

I thought about signing up for GISHWHES, but I'm not sure I'll have time with the little one, and besides, I'm a few days abroad in that week of August. :)

Well, I guess we didn't get so much rain after all apart from the last few days, huh? ;)

Yeah, judging by some of last year's items, you'd have to be single and unemployed - or at least on vacation - to get most of them done in a week.
