We had a medical checkup at work. In my case, the doctor only tested my vision. My left eye sees only 88% when the little testing rings are close, and 46% when they're far away. With my glasses on! I guess I need to make an appointment with an eye doctor soon ( Read more... )

I just bought new glasses. Nothing changed with my eyesight, meaning I'm still blind as a bat. :P

Hiking is not my cup of tea. Maybe it's because I grew up on the countryside and had enough Mother Nature during the first twnety years of my life. *shrugs* I like short trips on weekends, but hreal hiking with a backpack and stuff? Naaahh.

I didn't see the 'salmon'. LMAO

Hope you have a great time in Wales.

I can still see well without the glasses (I mostly have problems with small print on the screen and far away road signs), which makes me not wear them as much as I probably should.

I hated hiking when I was younger. In a way, I still do, I can't imagine just walking around for three hours with no destination in mind. But it's different somehow, doing it with all your things on your back and for six days straight. It also helps to fly to another country to do it. With no easy way home and nothing else to do for a week, you just have to keep walking to pass the time.

I think you didn't have me on your friendslist back then, it was a while ago. :)

Hope you have a great time in Wales.

I still have a month before I go, but I certainly will!

I take you stayed dry in your tent even if it was raining all night? ;) Camp is happening so soon, just over a month!!!!!! (Lots of camp posts happening at the community btw, don't know if you've been checking them out...)

I did! The outer tent was a bit wet on the inside, but that could have been condensation, I don't know. The important thing is that it didn't drip down on me. I do keep track of the community posts on Camp. So much happening so soon! :)
