I've been knitting lately. I finished my first pair of socks last weekend and was very proud of myself. Since then my fingers have been itching, but I didn't make it to the yarn store before today. I dreamed about being at the store last night. And the store owner's lovely daughter - who as far as I know doesn't exist

Is everyone into knitting right now? I started knitting a pair of slippers today. Did you make it to the yarn store today? And did the owner have a lovely daughter? ;-)

It seems like it, doesn't it? A lot of people on my friendslist do. I often find that I don't like the things you can buy so I end up making my own. Like the hat that I'm knitting right now. Plus, it's very relaxing and a great thing to do on my lunch break at work.

I did make it to the store. But the employee behind the counter - while nice and helpful - was probably not the owner's daugther. And not really in my age range. ;)

I have! But I'm not sure if I can make it this year. :( The cruise took a big chunk out of my vacation days.
