I went to my parents' house on Sunday to pick up Errol - he spent three weeks there while I was on vacation and whatnot - and they drove me back. We got as far as the through the next town, then a tire burst. My dad changed it in record time at the side of a busy, very fast road. We were all okay, just had to go back home to change cars

Unfortunately, next weekend is out; I'm visiting my dad's aunt. It took more effort than it should to find a date when my mom, my sister and me all had ttime.

On the 15th, my friend has a thank-you-for-helping-with-the-wedding dinner, and the 23th is my mom's birthday! I don't know what she's planning yet, but there will likely be a birthday breakfast. So I should be home on Sunday. Maybe Saturday? Or Friday to Saturday, if you want?
There probably won't be any leftovers left, I'm afraid, but hey, that's just an excuse to make new ones. :D

I know! That's what I should have done, too. But I wasn't sure if I'd truly like it. I'm watching it when it's on German TV right now, but not regularly.

Oh, glad everyone is okay after the tire burst! That is one of my horror scenarios, a burst tire on the Autobahn. Meep.

I suck at householding, too! There's dust everywhere. Well, a bit less now, because I dusted before Saba came to visit me. ;)

It wasn't the Autobahn, only a "Schnellstraße", luckily. Und wir haben nur den Einfädelstreifen blockiert. Ein Abenteuer!

I have hairs everywhere. I lose so many, and due to their length and color they're particularly visible on the white tiles in my apartment. I'd need to vacuum every day! (Which of course I don't.)

I have hair everywhere as well. It's horrible. Maybe I should collect all of them and make a wig... ;)
