I didn't have the radio on all morning, so I only heard about this ten minutes ago. I have no words.

According to CNN's Twitter, the gunman is also dead. Still, how horrifying.

The total number was unclear for a while, it's been corrected up and down, but they're at 16 now. Not that that's really important, it's a tragedy either way.

Absolutely. I think that's about what I'd heard too. It's so freaking sad.

There was another rampage here, too. A man went across his county on a spree, shooting everyone he felt had wronged him. I missed the number of deaths, though. I guess I just don't understand what can bring someone to that point of desperation.

I read about that in the newspaper today. I guess it might have featured more prominently in the news yesterday if we hadn't had our own situation here. I don't think it's something our "normal" minds are even able to understand.
