Hee, isn't it, though? If he were around in that era, he absolutely would have.

And Mac as Batman is one of those parallels that just seems to *fit* a little too easily.

Thank you! That era in New York would be an absolutely fascinating one to see these characters transplanted into, I think. It was such a time of change and movement, both within the city and the police department.

Is Stella Mac's Oracle or his Alfred in the superheroes AU?

His Oracle, as well as his Batgirl, since she goes out on missions with him in addition to doing remote surveillance and other tasks as needed.

I less-than-three the superhero, band, and Victorian AUs (I'd probably less-than-three the Project Runway one, too, if I actually watched that show). Flack as a Gordon analogue? Stella as an Alfred-analogue? Hawkes = Lucius Fox? Danny as a guy!Huntress? This is awesome.

As is Flack and his big handlebar mustache and sideburns. ^_^

Thank you! They were all fun to plot out, and I think that the character parallels in the superhero one, in particular, could be really intriguing if it were to be fully written and detailed. There's a lot of interesting things you could do with the parallels and cross-references, as well as the relationships.

And I am growing *very* fond of the idea of Flack in a handlebar mustache and sideburns.
