Quote:4. Martha figuring out that the hospital is still air-sealed in "Smith and Jones."

*nods* I only hope I would be as smart as her if I were in a building and suddenly appeared on the moon.

I just hope that I would be able to stay as calm as she is and be able to think things through, instead of (as is more likely to happen) having a panic attack and collapsing into catatonia.

I really love #1 and #2 of your Danny/Flack moments as well. I like how Flack is always the calming voice of reason when Danny's having a meltdown (or is just in the doldrums).

Great list! :)

Thank you! Those two moments are my favorites as well, I think, of the five I listed. And Flack does such a wonderful job of being the voice of reason (and as the truth-speaker, which I think is one of the ways his character functions on the show).

I think one of my all time favourite Martha moments is the bit where she realises they are on the moon. It's just the tone of voice. I love it every time.

Oh, and that pool table conversation is definitely one of my all time favourites. I love it more each time I see it.

And Danny-Flack taking the piss out of each others' fashioon sense will never get old. In fact, them taking the piss full stop will never get old.

Martha is so matter-of-fact and *smart* about it. Meanwhile, if the building I was in had just been transported to the moon, I'd probably be too busy having a panic attack to do anything even half as sensible. Martha just *rocks*.

I love the pool table conversation between Danny and Flack. It sums up so much of what's great about the show.

Sally and old Billy ... I did not cry. Not at all. Nuh-uh. And the Doctor talking about Gallifrey was heartbreaking.

"The tape ran out thirty seconds ago," in "The Doctor Dances." Jesus, talk about bad moments.

I know exactly what you mean. *shivers*

Nope, I totally didn't cry either when Sally was talking to old Billy. I especially haven't cried over that every single time I've seen this episode. And, oh, I love the speech about Gallifrey, for a lot of the same reasons I love the non-terrifying parts of "Blink."

That bit about the tape running out will live in my nightmares. Right along with the Weeping Angels.
