I have reliable info that CSI:NY will, once they go back into production, shoot four to seven episodes to round out the season, meaning that we should get a total of 18 to 21 episodes total for S4. Which is a little short of their normal 24-episode order, but not nearly as bad as it could have been.

YAY NEW EPISODES :::::::::::D

Consequently, when I was watching the BBC-A rerun of "The Shakespeare Code" last week, I found that I had Flack in my head for the entirety of the scene in which Martha and the Doctor are sharing a bed together. And that he was alternately yelling at the Doctor to "Kiss her! Kiss her on the mouth!" and telling Martha to "Punch him in the face."

*Hears Flack's voice saying that and dies*

I think one of us needs to try to write fic where Flack somehow interacts with the Who verse, either fannishly or as a crossover.

I think we really do need to write fic in which Flack interacts with the Whoverse. A crossover would be lots of fun, and it would also be great to see him being all fannish and geeked-out about how terrific Martha is.

I had *not* seen the Salon article and vid, but it's a good rundown. (Although I wasn't crazy about Christian's collection -- the more I looked at it, the more derivative it seemed.) I've also been keeping up via the Project Rungay boys.
