Oh, this is so lovely and made all the more poignant by the frame you've put it in. Each piece has a depth to it, and they still add up to something greater than the sum. I especially love what Danny says to Mac.

The frame was really what helped me figure out what I wanted to do with this piece and where it needed to go. I like the idea of possibilities and might-have-beens. And Danny's lines in that section are very much my attempt to touch on that same idea.

Beautiful, especially partial to the final bit of the Mac/Danny. It's a powerful image that you drew there and it was so clear in my mind.

Ooh. I love the "Five Things" format, particularly when they're things that may or may not have happened.

I think my favorites are Mac/Danny, and Mac/Abernathy, though the mistletoe trivia in the Mac/Hawkes made me smile.

I really like the "Five Things" format, too, and I think I don't write it nearly enough. I also like the idea of writing these kind of might-have-been situations.
