challenge 6
I know, I forgot again XD
Theme challenge again! This week we go for Monochrome. This means, make icons of Stella Bonasera in shades of only one color - the icon can be black/white or in shades of any other colour, as long as there is only that one colour present on the icon (i.e. no colour blobs, no coloured light textures, no text in a different colour etc.). You can find examples here.
other than that, the usual rules apply:
- the icons have to meet LJ standards, which means no bigger than 100x100 and 40 KB, allowed formats are .gif, .jpg, .png
- you may enter up to 4 icons
- the icons you enter have to be new and made by you
- don't post the icons anywhere before the voting results have been posted
- animations and blending aren't allowed (you may use one picture multiple times in the icon though)
- text, brushes, textures etc. are allowed and encouraged
- there may be other people in the icon, but please try to keep the focus on Stella
- the deadline for submission is Saturday, October 6th, about 10pm GMT

Also, as you all probably noticed already, I've been pretty much neglecting this community, sorry about that XD
So I'm now looking for a Co-Mod as well as a banner maker or two - you can apply by commenting to this post.
If you would like to be a Co-Mod: Experience is a must, so if you've managed an icontest community before please provide a link (or more, if you have). Your role here would be pretty much the same as mine then, you'll put up every other challenge (every 2 weeks there's gonna be a new one), I'll take over the others. If you want you can make the banners for your challenges, or you leave it up to a banner maker (or me, until we get a banner maker). You'd have to put up the challenge post, check the submissions (whether they apply to your rules or not), post reminders, the voting and the results. If you feel you can do it, don't be shy and apply! :D
For Banner Maker applicants: Experience would be great, please provide a couple of examples (2-5) of banners you've made before. You'll have to make about 5 banners every other week, as our challenges run 2 weeks. You should have them done within 4 weeks after the results have been posted.
