Yay! New fic, I liked this new style. I think the interaction of Atlantis and Sheppard was spot-on. I'm intrigued about the hint of Sheppard being able to protect them all but will it become a fic?

Thanks, glad you liked. Yes, I have actually dropped that hint about Sheppard in a couple of stories and there is a story that I will be writing as a follow-up to the fact that Sheppard has a 'destiny'. Will try to get to it as soon as I can!

Thanks....so glad that you enjoyed. I love stories about John and Atlantis and their connection, write about it a lot. Most of those stories are on fanfiction.net.

I promise, I have been playing around with that tease about John's destiny for a long time, with plans to write the story.

This is beautiful and so descriptive of what I felt as soon as Sheppard exited the gate and things began to happen as he entered the spaces.
It was not some sort of censor, but the city awakening to the Ancient gene he possessed

I remember when it shows Sheppard walking into spaces, and they turn on, I immediately thought, 'It is almost like Atlantis recognizes him'
I know some don't believe that, but I do and since it is after all F-I-C-T-I-O-N, we can all assume whatever we like eh??

You know that surprises me that anyone who watched the show didn't realize that Sheppard was causing the equipment to activate. It's clear that as he progressed throught the gate room and up the stairs that the lights started coming on. Remember at one point he asked Rodney, "Did I do that?" Rodney didn't reply, he just shrugged. I don't know who wouldn't believe that if they were paying attention. Sometimes, people just like to be argumentative or they simply don't have a clue or an imagination. I do have to stop every now and then and go...did that happen in canon or did I read or write it in fanfic...the lines get blurred.

Someone mentioned on some post, I don't even remember where, that they hated Sheppard and Atlantis when writers made it a love story. Ya think? I never look at the relationship that way...but they do have a strong connection, at least in my head.

Whatever, I love Sheppard and Atlantis.
