I can't help but think being on a team with a certain General in DC all those years helped Sam come up with this idea. It seems like something he would do.

Sam was a great commander in Atlantis and this seemed like a really realistic situation. Liked the camaraderie between Sheppard and Carter, too. :)

LOL...you read my mind...I almost put a reference to Jack O'Neill, and Sam getting that idea from him. I decided against it, so as not to dilute her 'solution', but yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. Do we know Sam or what???? LOL! :D

I always love to write Sam and Sheppard...I think they would get along really well and I loved her as Atlantis commander.

Yup.. like cedelede said, I suspect Sam learned to think on her feet working with Jack... yup... a bored Jack is a scary person indeed! Although I think a bored Rodney would give him a run for his money!
