Thank you. I have always love the Neil Diamond original version...always been a favorite, and been a Johnny Cash fan as well. Poor Sheppard...he was too solitary in Vegas...

Excellent observation. I still don't believe Sheppard died at the end. That Rodney wouldn't allow it anymore than our Rodney would!

Beautiful cover art, both sides a bookend of emotions. The song choice is really perfect from the theme of speed, to flying and falling, to the final song choices at the end representing his personality.

Thanks so much, kristen999. I really appreciate your comment. I wanted to convey his love of flying and his fear of love. Don't you love that shot of him with his hand on his neck. That shot was a mod's choice on johnshepp_itest this past challenge. Done in B&W (which you and I both love) by the incredible icon guru ga_unicorn. It was the first screen pic I thought of to use on the back cover. Damn...he can show emotion without his eyes....he's good!

I was listening to "LRC" and yeah, the theme of him fearing love is really prevalent in that song. That shot of him at Dave's doorstep is just...it really is something. I'll def check out that com :D

that's one awesome Sheppard mix! more than meet the eye, for sure. and the art is awesome, I especially love the shot of the track listing.

I need to make my mix, but believe me that mine is going to be total crack *shifty eyes*

Thanks...I was feeling kind of melancholy about Sheppard...hence the mix. Can't wait for your mix!!! I need some crack!!!

As for the shot of Sheppard on the track listing...how can that man be that hot from that angle...darn. Smokin'
