I loved it. Haven't read much focusing on Caldwell yet and I have to say you really wrote him well. I expect him to be a little... difficult but you absolutely aced it :)

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your comments. I loved Mitch Pileggi as Skinner in the X-Files, and I wanted him to be better than he was written in SGA. I really enjoyed writing about his relationship with Sheppard; this prompt came while I was writing a story, Hero Defined, about Sheppard and Caldwell. I sort of got stuck on a theme.

Thanks again for letting me know that you enjoyed the story, I'm glad you did.

This was an enjoyable insihgt into Caldwell. I never understood fandom's choice to write his as two deimenasional. I don't think he was ever treted fairly by Weir and you cna tell over teh season the trust John earned from him.

I enjoyed this type exploration of him here. Admitting mistakes, being thoughtful about what-ifs. Understanding and moving on with new insight. My favorite one was the one with Ronon, that was just a very cool, cool moment.m

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and comment. I really appreciate and your kind words.

I agree, I think Caldwell is a very complicated man and he should have been explored more in the series and in fanfiction. I'm glad that you liked the Ronon-Caldwell section...I thought it would be fun to look at both these men and put them in a completely different perspective.

Thanks again, Kristen, it means a lot to hear from you.

Take care.

Really well done. I love that you made a friendship possible between Caldwell and Ronon. McKay's blow to Caldwell was priceless in the games and I love the interaction between Sheppard and Caldwell, it makes their encounters much more interesting than the usual adversarial dislike.

Wow...you have made my day...I really appreciate you taking time to read all these stories and more that you took time to comment. That's really nice. I think the comments got a bit mixed up between Five Things Steven Caldwell Regrets and Hero Defined. I'll reply as if they didn't.

McKay got even, John got to teach Caldwell a lesson, and Ronon got to show he was more than a warrior. It was fun to write. Thanks! Glad you liked it!

More..thanks for spending time with my stories!
