I get eaten by Finnish mosquitoes but not the home ones ... strange, have you tried to take some anti histamine?

The Finnish ones never touch me (well, except for the ones in Rovaniemi and Suomenlinna, but those are extra-brutal) and I'm usually left alone while at home because I have those nets on my windows. But the ones in that forest were awful... and they only bit me, none of the others >.<
I'm taking anti histamines all the time because I'm allergic to... everything xD
